Kirk Cousins is a Pro Bowl quarterback with the Minnesota Vikings. Kirk played college football at Michigan State (MSU), where he helped the Spartans win a share of the Big Ten title in 2010, and played in the inaugural Big Ten Championship Game in 2011. Kirk is only the second three-time captain in MSU football history. Kirk was drafted by the Washington Redskins in 2012 and signed with the Minnesota Vikings in 2018. He ranks 2nd in Vikings history with 35 TD passes in a season in 2020, and his 8 games with 3+ passing TDs in 2020 is a Vikings record. His 17 career games with 300+ passing yards, 3+ TDs and 115.0+ passer rating are the most in the opening 9 seasons of a QB's career in NFL history. Kirk became the 3rd-fastest player in NFL history to complete 2,000 passes needing only 89 games to do so. Kirk graduated from MSU with a degree in Kinesiology, and also received an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities.
