CORE integrates Interactive Neuromuscular Stimulation to help clients Move Beyond Paralysis

The Center of Recovery and Exercise (CORE) in Altamonte Springs, Florida was founded to provide individuals living with spinal cord injuries or other neurological conditions a place to defy their devastating diagnoses and Move Beyond Paralysis. The CORE culture emphasizes goal setting in a high-energy, positive environment with a dedicated training team committed to helping clients reach their full potential. Meet Malerie Robinson

Executive Director of CORE

Malerie Robinson serves as the Executive Director at CORE Florida, demonstrating her dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals living with neurological conditions. With a background in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology (Bachelor of Science) and a master’s in Health Administration, she has amassed over twelve years of experience in the neurorecovery field.

We had the opportunity to ask Malerie some questions on how interactive neuromuscular stimulation has helped CORE and its clients.

Describe a ways Interactive Neuromuscular Stimulation (INS) has helped at CORE

We had a client whose muscle tone and spasms would not allow her to even move into positions with assistance. Her legs felt like cement and were heavy. Her legs were hard to the touch with no fluidity. After applying the INS technology, she became more pliable and now she can connect with her quadriceps and her glutes. Things she could not do before INS.

Is there a psychological effect with INS?

The INS technology gives people hope, which is the cornerstone of what we strive to achieve here at CORE. It helps our clients see what their full potential really is and helps optimize their recovery and their health and be able to see what is possible.

Malerie’s and CORE’s commitment to advancing the field through innovative approaches and the latest technology to optimize recovery potential make them valued members of the NeuX family.
